Beaches in Kassandra Halkidiki (Part 1)
Halkidiki is famous for its magical and exotic beaches, most of which have golden sand and blue crystal waters. Dense vegetation, gulfs and cliffs complement the beautiful landscape. In Halkidiki you can find beaches for all tastes: secluded and popular/crowded, with beach bars and water sports. Below we present you with some of them:
Nea potidea beach
Very long and popular beach, with beach bars and sport facilities. The sandy beach is clean and clear and awarded with the blue flag.
In Nea Potidea there is also a secluded beach for quiet relaxing vacations. You can see it in the pictures bellow:
Nea Fokea beach
In Nea fokea Halkidiki you will find organized sandy beaches, with clear waters, but also more secluded beaches in small sea gulfs beside Nea Fokea marina. Τurquoise waters and a view to 17 meters Vizantine tower will compose a unique experience.
An excellent exotic beach between Nea Fokea and Afitos is Aristotelis beach. Blue crystal waters, golden sand and some rocks are main characteristics of this small paradise.
Afitos beach
A long magnificent beach, of 4 km. White sand, trees that reach the sea level and crystal clear turquoise waters form an idyllic landscape. There are cosmopolitan atmospheric beach bars with straw umbrellas and a picturesque small marina of Punta. Most known beaches in Afitos are Varkes, Liosi, Moudounou, Afitis, Aristotelis, Valopetres and Dafni.
Kalithea beach
Popular beach especially for young people. Main characteristics are bright white sand, shallow crystal clear waters and a verdant hill in the background. Some of the most famous beach bars of Kassandra and water sport facilities are located here.
Kriopigi beach
Beautiful, with amazing view to Sithonia 's gulf. Trees that hang from the cliffs, fine sand and crystal clear waters form a magnificent scenery. The beach also offers facilities for water sports.
Kalogeriko
Between Kriopigi and Polichrono beach Kalogeriko is located. This is a very long organized beach, not too crowded, with clear blue waters and golden sand.
